Drunken Chicken

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups (packed) dark brown sugar
9 garlic cloves, peeled, pressed
1 cup molasses
3/4 cup tamari soy sauce
6 tablespoons unseasoned rice vinegar
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons chopped peeled fresh ginger
1 tablespoon (or more) hot chili sauce (such as sriracha)
3/4 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
1/4 cup bourbon
9 green onions, chopped
8 chicken breasts

Directions:

1. Place sugar, next 9 ingredients, and 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper in large bowl. Whisk until salt dissolves. Mix in green onions. Set a small amount of marinade aside.

2. Marinate chicken breasts for 4 hours. Grill over direct heat at 400º until cooked throughout. Let rest for 5 minutes and slice. Drizzle remaining marinade over chicken and enjoy!
