About Our Grilling Classes

Join Chef JJ as he educates and entertains with tastes from local sources. Using the famous Big Green Egg, Chef JJ’s is a small plate grilling experience. Classes range from $35-55 per person, which includes the recipes, non-alcoholic drinks, beer or wine tastings* and 3-4 small plate style courses.  These classes take place at “The Chef’s Table” where you can see all the action from prep work to grilling. Class participants are welcome to get involved and ask a lot of questions.  At Back Yard you will get a unique dining experience that is both educational and entertaining, while eating fresh, local food.

Weekday classes start at 6:15pm with a beer appetizer, seating is at 6:30.

Saturday classes start at noon.

*Additional beer or wine is available upon purchase.

At Back Yard, we provide you with the freshest items possible and there is no exception when it comes to our beer and wine selection. A local brewery, Sun King, provides us with 4 styles of hand-crafted beers at all times. The beer can be sold by the pint or take your favorite from the evening home in a growler (64oz). Our Wines come from a local distributor, Graybull, who represents small, organic vineyards from around the world. Our wines are not found in the grocery store so remember to purchase your favorite bottle before you entertain your friends at home!

Seating is extremely limited and RSVPs are required, so don’t miss your opportunity to  enjoy these one-of-a-kind classes.

Class Ticket Policy: Seating is limited.  Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
